LOES ZANDERINK

As a true breaststroke specialist, Loes competed in the European championships and became national champion and Dutch record holder in the 200 meter breaststroke. Loes has broad experience in coaching, triathletes as well as amateur swimmers. Besides coaching she also teaches kids in preliminary school.

JOHAN KENKHUIS

SwimGym founder and two time Olympian Johan won a silver and bronze medal in the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. He is a freestyle specialist and nowadays also commentator for the Dutch broadcasting during international swimming championships.

JELLE DE BOER

Jelle is a very experienced coach and personal trainer, both in swimming as fitness. He has a background in waterpolo where he coached on national level. His enthousiasme for training motivates his swimmers every time they come in and train.

NOAH BERLIN

Noah has a background as a competitive athlete in long-distance events at top national level. As a psychology student, he loves to help people overcome both mental and physical barriers on their way of improving their swimming regardless of level or age. He loves to strike the right balance between making you enjoy swimming, while also challenging you to improve technique, endurance, and speed.

CRIS VAN SCHIJNDEL

Cristhian is an athlete through and through, and a former Dutch youth champion in the 50-meter butterfly. With experience in gymnastics, trampolining, and bouldering, he approaches every motor skill challenge like a puzzle to be solved with insight and precision. His style is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented. Cristhian’s coaching is personal, focused, and full of infectious energy – a valuable asset for anyone looking to grow and improve in swimming.

DENNIS REKVELT

As coach of the youngest Dutch national champion swimmers, Dennis knows exactly how to coach and improve the technique for swimmers of all levels. In 2018 Dennis competed at the Dutch National Championships himself, and, on top of that, he is now a certified personal trainer!

MICHAEL STOLT

Michael’s biggest dream was to be a swimcoach and at the SwimGym this passion shines through. Michael is an experienced triathlete himself (he has done two Iron Man’s) and is the clubcoach in Hoofddorp. Are you planning on doing a triathlon? Personal training with Michael will certainly give you an advantage!

ROY VAN DER WOUDE

Roy is an enthusiastic trainer with a passion for the sport of swimming, which he tries to show during every training. For a number of years Roy trains young swimmers in Haarlem, where he is still active as a competitive swimmer as well. After finishing his study as a PE teacher, he is very motivated to put a lot of attention into making everybody a better swimmer.

ALEX MARLOW

Alex may be far from her hometown of Toronto, Canada, but she feels right at home at SwimGym. She competed at the national level in both Canada and the U.S., and was a Division 1 scholarship athlete on the University of Pittsburgh’s Swim and Dive team. Alex believes that swimming should be both challenging and fun, and she brings a positive mindset and energy to every session — aiming to create an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all her swimmers.

KAYLEE DE JONG

Kaylee's specialty is long-distance swimming and she has extensive experience in open water and in the pool at both national and international levels. In addition to various national podium places in the pool, she has become Dutch champion several times in the open water in both the freestyle and breaststroke. Working with trainers at club level and federation level along with her experiences has made her enthusiastic to pass on tips and tricks so that everyone can achieve their goal.

ANNA MORSINK

Anna has had chlorine flowing through her blood from an early age. Despite her young age, she has already competed in several Dutch National Championships and she is not an unknown face in the triathlon field. The Health and Life student at the VU enjoys coaching and likes to make others enthusiastic about swimming. Now she is not only training the children at her swimming club in Weesp, but she is also standing at the SwimGym pool platform to improve your swimming technique ánd enjoyment.

THOMAS VASTENHOUT

Thomas his swimming skills encountered at the age of 5 when managed to get 3 swimming diplomas within 9 months. His swimming career really took off a couple of years later, as a competitive swimmer at ZPCH in Hoofddorp. His love for this sport was - and is - so present that he obtained his training license as soon as possible. Now he would like - in addition to his study Sport Marketing - to further expand his coaching skills at SwimGym. Thomas is an enthusiastic trainer and enjoys training swimmers to a higher level, together.

SINAH SCHWEMMER

Sinah is from Germany and has loved swimming since she was young. Her passion grew into a competitive career, representing the German national deaf swimming team at events such as the Deaf European Championships and the Deaflympics. Outside the water, Sinah hears with the help of cochlear implants. Competing at this level taught her the value of discipline, technique, and mental resilience — lessons she now brings into her coaching. While completing her degree in Sports Economics, and in the years that followed, Sinah worked as a certified EMS personal trainer. Now coaching at SwimGym, she enjoys helping swimmers improve their technique, build confidence, and discover the joy of being in the water. She believes swimming is for everyone — a place to grow, challenge yourself, and push boundaries.
