PAUSE MEMBERSHIP DIRECT DEBIT FEBRUARY

Due to the extended lockdown SwimGym is closed for a longer period and it is uncertain when we are allowed to reopen again, therefor we offer a pause option for memberships during the period of closure in February. During this pause you do not pay for your membership.

SUPPORT SWIMGYM

If you choose not to pause your membership, the direct debit will continue as normal. By doing so, you will directly contribute to help us maintain the swimming pool, keep the SwimGym team together and to be able to continue our services in the future. We are the only independent operating swimming pool and we need to keep the pool operational during the time of closure.

REQUEST BEFORE JANUARY 25TH

  • In order to apply the pause option to your direct debit in time, you need to request the pause of your membership before January 25th, 2021.
  • Pause starts after approval and confirmation SwimGym. Requests from January 25th forward cannot be processed.
  • Unless otherwise communicated by SwimGym, the direct debit will resume proportionally on the date of reopening in February.

PAUSE MEMBERSHIP

No action is needed if you do not want to pause your membership and keep on supporting SwimGym (thank you!). In case you would like to pause, you can choose between two options.

PAUSE OPTION 1:
Pay half of your membership during the period of closure in February.

No payment of your membership during the period of closure in February.

CONDITIONS PAUSE MEMBERSHIP DIRECT DEBIT

Conditions to pause your membership direct debit:

  • The direct debit pause is only to compensate for the instructed closure by the government during the month of February 2021.
  • Only applicable during closure starting February 1st, for a continuous period with a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 1 month.
  • In the event the lockdown takes longer than the month of February or new closure is announced SwimGym will inform you about a potential scheme but is not obliged to do so.
  • Monthly and year memberships can exclusively request pause of the direct debit via SwimGym website before January 25th, 2021. You can choose between half (50%) or full (100%) non-payment of this membership pause.
  • Pause starts after approval and confirmation SwimGym. Requests from January 25th forward cannot be processed. In this case membership payment for the February direct debit period must be paid.
  • You do not have to pay for your membership during the approved pause period in February. Unless otherwise communicated by SwimGym, the direct debit will resume proportionally on the date of reopening in February or alternatively the direct debit resumes on March 1st.
  • For yearly memberships the contract end date will be extended with the period of the pause.
  • An active membership, have not canceled or any open payments.
  • Memberships that have already been paused (due to long-term illness, injury or pregnancy) are excluded from this direct debit pause.
  • Pause will not be granted retroactively.
  • Start and end dates cannot be changed.
  • You cannot cancel the SwimGym membership during the pause. If so, the direct debit pause will lapse and you will still owe the entire membership fee for the month of February.
  • In the event of any open payments, the pause will discontinue. If so, the scheme will lapse and you will still owe the entire membership fee for the month of February.
  • During the pause the membership agreement and the Terms and Conditions SwimGym Pools remain applicable.
  • SwimGym reserves all rights. The right to adjust the scheme at any time and to reject applications without stating reasons.
